Blue Beat Baby, compilado que les regalo, con 20 melodías de Blue Beat, sean hits o no, son unos excelentes temas.
Blue Beat, fue una discográfica formada en 1960, subsidiaria del sello inglés Melodisc. Sus registros fueron de R&B, Ska y Rocksteady. Este sello, registró más de 200 referencias, las cuales, aproximadamente 100, fueron de Prince Buster. El fin de este sello fue en 1967, fueron 10 años de ritmo azul. Basada en el best seller "The Football Factory" de John King, The Football Factory: Diario de un hooligan, título con el que se comercializará en Español, es una de las películas más controvertidas de Inglaterra en los últimos años.La película es un estudio de la vida cotidiana inglesa, el fenómeno de la violencia en el fútbol y la cultura de los hombres.
La historia se centra en Tommy Johnson, joven británico cercano a la treintena, cuya vida se basa solo en sexo esporádico, pintas de cerveza, droga mal cortada...y sobre todo , salir a buscar bronca con sus amigos hooligans del Chelsea. Un encuentro inesperado con los hinchas de su histórico rival (el Millwall) cercano al decisivo partido entre ambos equipos, desembocará una auténtica batalla campal que hará que Tommy se replantee su vida: ¿hasta que punto merece la pena?
Con un look cercano a los videos musicales y en referencia directa a Trainspotting, The Football Factory refleja una historia brutal,una forma de vida, un golpe directo al estómago con la violencia, la venganza y la brutalidad como verdaderos protagonistas.
La película, que iba a ser protagonizada inicialmente por Sean Bean (El Señor de Los Anillos, Troya) y D. Scott (MI2, Dark Water), acabó en manos del director Nick Love, que quiso dar más realismo a la historia con actores pocos conocidos que empiezan a despegar. El reparto esta encabezado por Danny Dyer, que protagonizó Mean Machine. Además aparecen actores como Frank Harper (Quiero ser como Beckham, En el nombre del padre),... El resto del reparto incluye nuevos actores e incluye numerosos hooligans británicos auténticos, que aparecen especialmente en las escenas de peleas entre los hinchas de los equipos.
La música de la película es de Primal Scream, que ya ha realizado exitosas bandas sonoras como la de Trainspotting y añade más fuerza adicional a una película visualmente adictiva.
The Football Factory ha sido una autentica revolución en Inglaterra, siendo un auténtico éxito de ventas durante los primeros meses en el mercado (más de 300,000 copias vendidas en 2 meses) y convirtiéndose en un fenómeno que ha ocupado todas las portadas de los diarios británicos, con críticas a favor y en contra. Es la película que más veces se ha comparado con Trainspotting, y se ha dicho que es la versión de esta trasladando la acción de Glasgow a Londres y cambiando las drogas por la brutalidad en el deporte.

This Is England

"This is England" está ambientada en la Inglaterra de principios de los ochenta. Aki les dejo mi pelicula favorita, y espero ke la de muchos ustedes, La naranja mecánica.
Alex, es un málchico (adolescente, en lengua nadsat) que lidera un grupo de amigos (drugos), con los que pasa el tiempo dedicándose a la ultraviolencia (palizas, abusos, violaciones y humillaciones de aquellos más débiles, y trifulcas con otros grupos de adolescentes) y al consumo de drogas. Asimismo cometen robos o asaltos ocasionales para financiar su estilo de vida. La pasión de Álex es la música clásica, principalmente del "divino, divino" Ludwig van Beethoven.

La verdad no se ke mas decir al respecto de esta pelicula, no puedo resumir a una pelicula tan monumental en palabras o letras, asi es ke dejare ke ella hable sola...

Aki esta el libro, espero ke les guste y la verdad cuesta un poco leerlo por ke no esta acostumrado a entnder el nadsat, ke es un especie de lenguaje, en este caso son palabras ke son propias de el autor del libro.

Aki les dejo mi pelicula favorita, y espero ke la de muchos ustedes, La naranja mecánica.

Siempre que se habla del movimiento rude, se hace muy dificil referirce a las feminas, entregandoles un papel más secundario o inexistente. Es más se cree que cuando comienza el sentimiento de rechazo a la sociedad en los ghettos solo es posible relacionarlo con chicos groseros, que buscaban igualdad con medios violentos y atrevidos para la época. Pero en aquel entonces ¿quien era la rude girl?¿en realidad existia el sentimiento rude en las chicas? o no eran más que nenas que al estar al lado de un rude boy adquirian y apoyaban su movimiento. Por qué como se sabe es asi como han surgido varios movimientos femeninos -imitando a los hombres- queriendo hacer las mismas cosas que ellos, sentirse libres como uno de ellos.
Es asi como comienza la educación de una mujer, dandose cuenta que es tan capaz como un hombre, que es inteligente, luchadora y poderosa.
Entonces, se podria decir que las rude girls nacieron de la mano de un rude boy, y solo la novia de un rude boy era una autentica rude girl (aunque eso es solo una suposición).
Lo otro sería la necesidad de los boy de tener una chica al lado con su mismo estilo de vida y linea de pensamientos, que transmitio sus necesidad haciendo que muchas mujeres se sumaran a la causa.
Aunque en estos tiempos la chicas surgen asi derepente y sin mucha influencia de los hombres, solo llegan a serlo -aunque no es lo mismo una rude de ahora que una de cuando comienza el movimiento- más bien una neo-rude o un tipo de rude revivals, aunque más que rude parecen mods, porque dudo que una chica de los subirbios de jamaica haya vestido tan elegante, y si era dificil conseguir trajes para hacemejarce a un gangster (en el caso d elos hombres), mucho más complicado debe ser obtener un vestido de aquella clase. Pero bueno, todos los revivals existentes tiene un toque moderno y pequeños cambios en el tiempo, asi que no hay problema.
Y por ultimo, no creo que haya una guía que te enseñe a ser de un movimiento cultural, solo estas ahí, no sabes como llegaste ni como te metiste en la volada, solo estas.

Lloyd Daley, llamado "El Matador" es uno de los pioneros de Soundsystems nacido el 12 de julio de 1932. El productor inició en negocios muy pequeños, con su propio negocio en la capital de Jamaica, en la industria de reparación de equipos de radio y televisión. En 1956, lanzó "Lloy The Matador, uno de los primeros soundsystems la isla, más tarde llamado" Bullfighters", que fue cerrado por la policía local por razones desconocidas.
